The Oxfam Trailwalker already exists in several countries. More than 25 years ago the first Trailwalker was organized in Hong Kong. In the meantime successful editions have been held in Australia, Great Britain, New Zealand and Japan each year. Belgium is the sixth country where the event takes place.

In 2008 the Oxfam Trailwalker will take place for the very first time in Belgium. The High Fens - with its many rivers and brooks, vast peat scenery and deciduous and conifer forests - are a beautiful scene for this unique event.
